Blogging in McDonald @ Bugis, with a few bloggers around me.
First blog post after I shifted from Geocities. Damn!! Just reminded myself that my beloved geocities account is gone forever when I'm so in love with it. >.< And Blogger is so screwed for me!! *Cries* (Ignore all that ramblings of mine) Back to reviewing the movie. I guess I have out grown the age for cartoons. *Argh! It seems that I have grown much older (mentally) somehow, without me realising* The movie is so not my type now, would have loved it a few years back, but its not that bad a movie. One thing to mention, it's a 2-D animated movie, so I should not be too picky. *OK!! I admit!! I still enjoy Barbie-kinda movie...* It is quite a funny movie. And I guess I really wouldn't kiss a frog even if it is a prince!! Quoting from the movie: "It's not slime! It's mucus." Eww... I can't imagine me kissing MUCUS!! OMG!! Anyway, I simply hates Charlotte La Bouff for being a spoilt princess. And I guess, she's too shallow and materialistic to matter for anyone's sake. And so is Prince Naveen, initially. But he turns out to be less annoying as they travel with the aligator and the Cajun firefly to look for Mama Odie in the bayou. Quoting Mama Odie: "You have to dig deeper to get what you want." I love this quote! ♥
It is worth spending some time thinking through this qoute and really understand what everyone of us really wants and needs.

The most touching scene (considered so) would be when Prince Naveen made a Pearl (guess so, but it looks more like plastic balls to me) ring for Tiana, trying to propose, but in the end, decided not to.
WHY?!
He wants to help Tiana achieve her dream of a restaurant by marrying Charlotte to get the funds.

The ending makes sense. OK. The movie explains the 'sense' part. Since Prince Naveen married Tiana, that makes Tiana a princess, so... when they kiss, they return to human beings.
And it goes:
They live happily ever after.
