Okay, many of you might have been wondering what's with all the posting of such status on my Facebook with different 7-11 locations during the weekends and asking friends down to support me.
The fact is, I was selling beer. Not quite much like those aunties at the void-deck kopitiam, nor those skimpily-dressed young gals trying to get Uncles to open bottles. Okay, the job scope might not be similar, but the concept is there. To put it nicely, I'm promoting SOL beer to the public and assisting it to break into the market successfully. That's the company's goal, and our individual goal would be to sell as many bottles as possible to earn commission. *heeheehee* XD


Here's the deal
Foreigners & Caucasians are my favorite targets!! Thou they are mostly like to reject you due to their brand loyalty. They are more straight forward. They heard the brand before, they might have tried it before and disliked it, but they always tell you this: "Shot, what's the deal?" They will buy if they think the deal is good. Rather time-saving huh? And they really do not waste your time, making you explain everything, from introduction about the beer to details of the beer, to my own perception and anything I can think of to persuade them to make the purchase.

The job is so discouraging, cause 8 out of 10 people will say "NO". And that means... I get rejected umpteen times!! D: so much like those people at roadshows trying to get you to sign up for a credit card. (That's why I dislike sales job.)

Till now, I still don't know how the beer taste like. HAHAH!! so much for trying to sell a beer that you don't even know how it taste, but still trying to convince others to try it out. =P
