Onward F/W 2011 Showcase at Avalon

A night of big city lights, party and glam at the ultra chic club Avalon, where Japanese fashion house -- Onward Kashiyama showcased 3 renowned labels and fresh concepts in Singapore. Hosted by Oli Pettigrew (a Hong Kong-born British actor, model, and television host, and now based in Singapore), the event is presented in a full runway show featuring the irresistible Autumn/Winter 2011 collections in 3 distinct brand segments ICB (International Concept Brand), Dip Drops and Rosebullet.

ICB (International Concept Brand)
→ Brand Concept
ICB is a brand designed for women who view themselves and society from a global perspective. Despite being complex individuals, these women are graceful and self-assured. They keep pace with contemporary trends while still maintaining their respect for tradition.
Above all, they are unique.
ICB's main concept is "Sharp & Modern".
ICB fashions evoke the inner confidence of contemporary women while offering sophisticated, fashionable, and elegant style.

ICB proposes sophisticated real-mode for the carrier women, not also strength feeling but also "femininity" feeling. Also proposes "Classic Glamour" which has a contrast expressed by multiplying "color and material" in this year's trend, which are based on the intelligent and chic color such as camel, navy, gray.

Dip Drops
→ Brand Concept
Dip Drops is a casual brand that combines fashion & convenience (targeting female aged 16-25), featuring sweet and feminine looks, using essential basic items meant to be layered.
"Dip" carries the meaning of "trendy" which means a fashionable sense.
"Drops" carries the meaning of "basic", a kind of feminine & simple idea.

"69 returns" is the theme for Dip Drops in this Autumn/Winter 2011.
This season, the key concepts are "retro elegance" and "swinging sixties", featuring classic 60s and modish 70s with jump skirts, flared pants, and boyfriend jackets.
Dip Drops’ Autumn/Winter Key materials include classic tweed, vintage-like lace and crochet, fur, and chiffon, while patterns such as houndstooth, antique floral, and geometric patterns complete the portfolio.

Rosebullet

Rosebullet represents the expression of the glamorous lady who can put on, adopt and interchange between "Femininity", "Edgy Style", "Sweetness" and "Elegance" to meet the everyday need.
"Rose" depicting FEMININITY and BEAUTY.
"Bullet" depicting STRENGTH and EDGY STYLE.

"British Retro" is the theme for Rosebullet in this Autumn/Winter 2011.
This Season, the concept of British Retro for the lady is seen in the form of 60s inspired dresses and pop coloured checks. A touch of Bohemian element will also be evident as we are not yet done with the well-loved Poncho, stylish leather pants and expensive fur.
Key colours for this Season include the accents of Orange, Winter Pink, Mustard, Green mixed with the basic colors of Terra Cotta, Bordeaux, Camel, Navy and Cream.

OKAY! Enough with all the introduction of the night & brands to get you peeps started off and go gaga over the apparels.
Rushed off from the launch of Forevermark Millemoi™ Collection at Ngee Ann City to attend this event at Avalon. Special thanks to Hpility (who told me about the event) and Jonathan (who brought us in). ^^
The show has already started when we arrived, but oh well our main intention was to enjoy the evening not much of the fashion runway, but still!! the showcase captured my attention and I started snapping away. However, I was quite far from the stage, hence photos taken are of quite bad quality due to the "zoom" function overzoom. =( So most of the photos are grabbed off LIFESTYLEASIA.COM, Dip Drops Singapore Facebook and Fever Avenue.
